Richie Matteson joined Sero Mental Health in February of 2025, after spending the last 5 years in the behavioral health space. Richie has a proven track record of building finance departments that support the growth and strength of behavioral health organizations. Previously, Richie served as the CFO for both Optum Behavioral Care and Refresh Mental Health, along as the VP of Finance for AbleTo.  Richie began his career at RSM as a Certified Public Accountant in the audit department. Richie has an accounting degree from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of North Florida.
